More About Me

Marin has been Tony’s home base for over 30 years, and he is a passionate local expert who provides a vast range of insight. Watching the local, regional, and national price trends is key to his correct property pricing, and his focus on accurate valuation is based on a rich background in training and teaching economics and finance. Tony holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Wisconsin, with post-doctoral education at the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts University, where he learned the art of negotiation. He believes strongly in staying at the forefront of knowledge and technology in his chosen field, and his extensive real estate education includes Urban Development (including zoning) at MIT, 1031 Exchanges (to defer capital gains taxes) and Reverse Mortgage (to downsize with cash flow in retirement) at professional associations.

As a homeowner and landlord himself, Tony’s understanding of the buying and selling process is multi-layered, and his network of professional resources—from contractors and stagers to architects and real estate attorneys—has been carefully cultivated. It is his great honor to guide his clients wherever they may be on the road to their real estate goals and dreams. Tony feels fortunate to have raised his family in Marin, where he has been a past PTA board member and active elections organizer. He is also an enthusiastic tennis player and member of the U.S. Tennis Association, Mt. Tam Racquet Club, and local tennis groups.
